Projection-X Hub

One window. Every effect.

The PX Hub installs your plugins, keeps them current and holds your license — so you look after the show instead of your files.

The Hub now wears the web shop's design, and the causes of the stutter in the plugins area are gone: only the tile under your pointer lifts, the others stay still. Every tile leads to its product page, the top 3 of the week now come straight from the shop, and the dock shows updates and installs in progress. The licence and help areas are reorganised: help search understands pasted error messages, and "Display" and "Support & handbook" are now at the bottom of Help. On your first machine the Hub sets itself up after you sign in – no licence key to type. When you sign in, you now choose the way first, for example your browser with Google or an email code. If we ever withdraw a plugin version, your purchased file now reliably stays in place. After the update there is nothing to set up: your sign-in, licences and installed plugins stay as they are.

01How it works

Set up the PX Hub.

Real recordings from the PX Hub — from first launch to show time. Click through it step by step.

Step 1 of 6

First launch

After installing, the PX Hub opens with its sign-in window. Three ways in: “Sign in in your browser” (Google, an email code or your password all work there), “Sign in with a password” right in the launcher — or “Create account”. If Windows steps in on the very first start, click “More info” and then “Run anyway”.

02Features

Built for the stage.

  1. 01

    Everything in one place

Purchased effects, trials, updates and your license — one window instead of a downloads folder.

  2. 02

    Automatic updates

New plugin versions show up by themselves, and the Hub updates itself too.

  3. 03

    60-minute trial

Run every effect once for an hour without a watermark — straight from the Hub.

  4. 04

    License + devices

See which machines are activated and release them yourself whenever you need to.

  5. 05

    Verified files

Every file is scanned on the server and checked against its signature on download.

  6. 06

    Offline-proof

On stage what counts is reliability: once activated, everything keeps running without a network.

Rather not type a password into the launcher? The Hub shows you an eight-character code — you confirm it here in the browser.

  • One key per account

  1. Version 1.6.6In developmentComing next

    Version 1.6.6

    • No more typing a licence key: after you sign in, the Hub sets itself up if this machine was not unlocked yet. New
    • You buy, you sign in — done.
    • And signing in no longer asks for a password right away: you pick the way first.
    • "Sign in in your browser" takes you to the website, and everything works there — Google, an email code or your password.
    • The password field is still there, it just opens on request.
04Good to know
  • Resolume plugins need Resolume Arena or Avenue 7 or newer.
  • Effects you have not bought run as a demo with a watermark — you see them live before you pay.
  • The Hub needs the internet once on first start; after that it runs offline.
  • Your license covers several machines, and you can release devices yourself in the Hub.
05FAQ

Common questions.

  • What is the PX Hub?

A small Windows app that installs your effects into the right folder, holds your licenses and pulls updates by itself — including offline operation, so a dead network at the venue does not end the show.

  • Can I try an effect before I pay?

Yes. Every effect runs for 60 minutes without a watermark on your own machine — once per effect, no card needed. If it does not carry your show, you have lost nothing.
